Dear AAA agronomists

Nespresso has always been committed to the eradication of unacceptable practices such child labour, forced labour and worker harassment/abuse. These are the PRE-REQUISITE criteria for the AAA Program that are mandatory and should comply at all times, from the moment a farm enters the AAA Program.

We now want to move further and develop a more holistic, integrated and long-term approach to protecting children and youth in coffee producing regions.

Terre des hommes, NGO leader on child rights’ and protection, committed to accompany Nespresso in tackling the multidimensional issue of child labour and enhance child rights in Nespresso policies and practices. We developed an adaptative capacity-building methodology on child rights for AAA agronomists that aims to reinforce the AAA internal capacity to properly identify actual and potential instances of child labour and to implement appropriate remediation plans.
